Trina Solar - Australia

We're always excited to work with clients who are committed to renewable energy and sustainability. That's why we were delighted to collaborate with Trina Solar, a global leader in solar solutions, to launch a creative campaign for their solar panels across Central Queensland.

Our challenge was to communicate the advantages of solar power in a region that already has the highest solar penetration in Australia, with more than half a million roof top solar systems installed. We wanted to differentiate ourselves from the competition and attract both new and existing customers.

Campaign Highlights

We chose to focus on the theme of "Solar That Makes Sense", emphasising how Queenslanders can make the most of the plentiful sunshine and save money on their electricity bills by switching to solar.

One of the highlights of the campaign was our use of cockatoo illustrations to showcase Trina Solar's Australian based support team. We wanted to convey that Trina Solar is not only a global brand, but also a local one that understands the needs and preferences of Australian customers. The cockatoos added a touch of humour and personality to the campaign, making it more appealing and memorable. We created a series of engaging ads featuring sunny scenes, the birds conversing and memorable creative headlines. We also developed a landing page with a useful checklist for planning solar panels, more information on the new Vertex S series and how to get in touch with an installer.

The Campaign Everyone’s Sqwarking About

To bolster brand awareness and reach more potential customers, we also placed radio and billboard advertising in strategic locations across Queensland. We used catchy jingles and slogans to capture attention and drive traffic to Trina Solar's website and landing page. We also leveraged social media platforms to amplify the campaign and encourage word-of-mouth referrals.

Spreading The Word

To inform the installer network about the campaign and the incentives to sell solar panels, we developed a channel detailer that outlined the key features and benefits of Trina Solar's products, as well as the promotional offers and rewards available for installers. We distributed the detailer via email and print, and followed up with phone calls and visits to ensure that the installers were well-informed and motivated to participate in the campaign.

The campaign was a hit, generating more traffic, enquiries and sales for Trina Solar. We're happy to have helped them expand their business and spread the message about solar power in Queensland.
